SF100
SF100 - This Sheffield stainless steel was originally designed as razor blade steel. It is a very fine grain stainless steel with a great combination of toughness, corrosion resistance, resharpening and polishing. Similar in composition to AEB-L/13C26/14C28N, it's a great alternative.
C: 0.68% Cr: 13% Mn: 0.75% Si: 0.4% P: 0.025% S: 0.02%
Softened.
Available final hardness: 62 HRC
Heat treatment:
Training at 1080 °C (holding time: 30 minutes)
Air cooling
Tempering at 175 °C (2x 2 hours) 62 HRC, or
Tempering at 225 °C (2x 2 hours) 60 HRC
