Stainless, powder metallurgical damascus steel made of RWL-34 and PMC27
Slight deviations in the damask pattern can occur and are due to technical reasons.
RWL-34 (drawing "light" in the damask): C: 1.05 Mn: 0.5 Si: 0.5 Cr: 14 Mo: 4 V: 0.2
PMC27 (drawing "dark" in the damask): C: 0.6 Mn: 0.5 Si: 0.5 Cr: 18
Excellent cutting performance and great optics.
Delivery condition: soft annealed
Achievable final hardness: approx. 62 HRC
Heat treatment:
Hardening at 1050 ° C - 1100 ° C in oil
Tempering 175 ° C / 2 hours
Freezing treatment after quenching is possible
