Pakkawood

Natural material made of duroplastic impregnated wood veneers. The polymerization temperature of the resin is 140°C, which provides high heat resistance and increased density to the final material. Pakkawood handle material consists of several layers of colored wood, which are glued with high-performance resin. Therefore, it can be easily processed, sanded, polished like wood. Due to the different color combinations and layers, the handle material can be used to create beautiful patterns using "grooves". With a colored backing, G-10 liner or Vulcanfiber, additional color combinations can be created, which can be individually tailored to each knife and its owner.
